Baalse Hei is located in Turnhout (Province of Antwerp), right next to vast forests and nature reserves. The campsite is easily accessible by car and bicycle, and is just a short distance from the city center of Turnhout. Our address is Roodhuisstraat 10, 2300 Turnhout; you can easily find us on Waze or Google Maps.

Our camping pitches measure approximately 100 m². They offer plenty of space to set up a caravan with its awning as well as your vehicle.
What is the electrical power available on the pitches?

Our pitches are equipped with a 16-amp electricity connection.

At camping Baalse Hei, you can stay in:
- Campsites for tents
- Pitches for caravans and motorhomes
- Fully equipped accommodations (such as safari tents or chalet caravans). We offer various models to ensure each one perfectly meets your requirements.
This means there is an ideal option for every type of holidaymaker.

Do I need to bring my own sheets and towels?
If you are staying in one of our rental accommodations, you do not need to bring your own sheets. Bed linen is automatically included in your reservation. Towels and kitchen linen can be booked as an option (for an additional fee), but are neither mandatory nor included by default.
Are the beds made upon arrival?

No, the beds are not made. The sheet kits will be left and ready for you in your accommodation.

These items are not provided by default. However, you can add them as an option during your reservation so that they are set up in your accommodation on the day of your arrival.
Can I book two camping pitches or two lodges at the same time?

Yes, you can do this within a single reservation. Remember to select the preferred location option to ensure that your pitches are next to each other. You can also leave a note with your preferences in the comments of your booking.

No, access to the showers is included in your rental price.

The water supplied on the estate — both in the rental accommodations and on the touring pitches — is perfectly safe to drink.
How should we manage our waste?
How should we manage our waste?
You can purchase bin bags for residual waste and PMD bags (for plastic packaging, metal packaging, and drink cartons) directly at the reception. You can then drop off your sorted waste at the campsite's waste disposal area, located on the edge of our grounds (indicated on the map). Please make sure to check the opening hours of the waste disposal area.

For first aid, you can go directly to the reception during opening hours.
Where can I park my second car?
Where can I park my second car?
Each reservation includes access for only one vehicle inside the estate (beyond the barriers). You can park a second car in the main parking lot. If it is full, you can park along the road on Roodhuisstraat, making sure to fully comply with the traffic signs.

Our estate has charging stations for electric vehicles. They are accessible in our main parking lot as well as in areas A, B, C, and D. You can find the applicable rates on our app and on our website.

We ask everyone to respect peace and quiet during the night on the estate from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Yes, provided that the standard safety rules are strictly respected (in particular, the barbecue must be elevated at least one meter off the ground).
Can I have visitors?

Yes, day visitors are always welcome. We simply kindly ask you to briefly register them at the reception upon their arrival.

No, visitors must park their vehicle in the main outdoor parking lot.
Are dogs allowed on the estate?
Are dogs allowed on the estate?
Dogs are allowed on our estate, provided they are kept on a leash at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the beach by the pond. However, you can make use of our enclosed dog play area (off-leash dog park) where they can run around freely.
