In Turnhout, there are countless hiking trails to explore, so walking enthusiasts will have plenty of options. Choose a city walk through historical streets or pick a route through the nature of the stunning Vennengebied or the Antwerp Campine.

    Kleine Nete route 50 km

    Cycle along the picturesque Little Nete river and enjoy the surroundings. 

    De Merode route 55 km

     Explore the beautiful Merode area with its forests, castles, and historic sites.

    Campine Walk

    Explore the vast forests and heathlands of the Antwerp Campine. No fewer than 88 walks are available, ranging from 3 km to 17 km. 

    Liereman 13.7 km

    Discover the untouched nature and rich birdlife in the De Liereman Nature Reserve, located in Oud-Turnhout. 

    Hoge Mouw 5 km

    A route to one of the highest points in the Campine, where you will be rewarded with a panoramic view. 

    Lovenhoek 7,21 km

    An enchanting walk through dense forests along easily accessible paths in Turnhout.
