Say Antwerp, think the
River Scheldt and the Antwerp port. A boat trip around
the port and on the Scheldt are an excellent introduction
into the intriguing world of the port. With a walk along
the terraces on the Scheldt you gain a good insight into
how the historic city centre weaves into the water. “Het
Eilandje”, literally an island in the middle of
the oldest part of the port is pure nostalgia and is also
the location of one of the two Antwerp yacht marinas.
